  • MILK: What your comfort food??

I love food and am finding my WW diet really really hard, both last week and this week...I plan to start again on Sunday. Last week I put on a lb. Whats your comfort food?? I have quite a few Embarrassed

Cheese....mild rather than mature but by the bucket load would be lovely!  Coke...I could have it all day long. And its sooooo bad for you. Diet stuff is a complete no go for me. Bread and butter is another guilty pleasure of mine. It has to be bakers bread and real butter for it to give me the comfort I would be eating it for it you get what I mean!! I love a kebab...but I can get around the diet aspect of that by having chicken shish. I'm not a fan of chocolate.

I'm ill and currently munching a fish finger sandwich. Funnily enough I'd never eaten one before getting pregnant with E and now I love them. I'm on WW too and I get round it by using weight watchers danish white bread (1 point a slice), a teeny bit of butter (1 point), a teeny bit of ketchup (the amount I use is so little as I dont really like it but want a bit of the flavour so when I checked it doesnt even amount to 1 point) and the omega 3 fish fingers are 1 point each too (I use three in my sandwich). Comfort type food for 6 PP.

Also the reason that I'm finding WW ok is because you CAN still have the bad stuff, as long as you dont go over your points. For example my mum bought one of those chicken caesar wraps from the supermarket thinking it was really good until I pointed out that when I looked it up the points value was worse than a KFC fillet burger. I know which one I'd rather have!!!

Oh god loads! Last night we had jacket potatoes - scoop out the potatoes, mix with lashing of butter, grated cheese & bacon, refill the skins, top with more grated cheese & bake for a further 15mins.

    Sooooooo good!

Depends on why I'm looking for the comfort from food.

Bad mood it will be savoury so cream crackers with butter. Lots of them. Time of the month or emotional it's chocolate and lots of it. Been getting through alot of chocolate lately with the stress from the inlaws.

Cheese and butter. Full fat coke, still Fanta from McDonalds. Chippy chips and best of all a nice big fat cheese and tomato pizza.

Oh I wish I had any of the above for lunch!

  • Re: MILK: What your comfort food??

If I need comfort foods its snacking rather than dinner, so crisps, sweets and biscuits.

Meals I love chinese, indian, mexican...

I do love stew and dumpling too oooh and pancakes!

Oh and cake, freshly baked lemon cake drizzled  dripping with lemon! Oh man!
