getting married abroad- cyprus

Hi im new to the site hope all you blushing brides are well, just a question we are booking our wedding abroad and don't know weather to go thorough a tour operator or a personal wedding planner - we have been recommended to Aphrodite wedding services but im a bit unsure of not booking through a tour operator just wondering who some of you have booked with or know someone who has booked through someone with excellent services/experience x x x x x

Hi hun i too am getting married in Cyprus Cant wait. Ive chose to go thru Tour operator as they do almost everything. I know if you go thro individual wedding services you have to do alot of running about and alot of stuff yourself. Which to some may be great but my idea of all that to do from another country is just way to stressful,  I will get a wedding planner assigned to me in Uk and one in cyprus with the tour operator and they sort all the fiddly bite for me. All me and my fiance have to to is sit back and wait for the good bits like colour choice and picking the cake etc and they do all the behind the scene tuff, which for me is perfect. Also your wedding, accommodation & flights is all sorted together :)

But everyone's different , I just want it to be as stress free as possible .

HI! im already married but my friend is getting married in cyprus in 2013 and she is looking to go through aphrodite also. They have a facebook page they are always updating. I personally got married in England so I have no idea what you would look for but any info anyone else has got i can pass on would be great x

Hello, I'm getting married in August out in Cyprus and I booked through our local travel agent using Olympic Holidays. They are fantastic and do everything for you. All we had to do was pick the hotel and date. their wedding planners in England are very helpful and Im waiting to hear from the hotel planner but they leave it nearer the time to contact. Good luck which ever you choose. x

Ahh thank you all , we have decided to go with them they have 15 years experience and all the reviews are really lovely just starting to get all the things together now i dont know how im going to tell /invite people to a wedding abroad lol ...... xx
