    Morning all and welcome to Lea8 who has now joined us. Lea has lost a massive amount of weight through slimming world and hopes to lose a further stone by May this year - you can do it Lea!

    Big well done do SexyBexy who somehow managed to lose 2.5lbs this week, meaning over Xmas AND New Year she only gained half a pound!!! Very impressed, and SB you will smash that stone barrier next week!

    Lorz11 I missed you on the thread yesterday so Wave Well done for a STS this week - fab news!


    Right girls, it's WI eve for many of us! How have you found this week? I've found it pretty good despite one slip up on Monday (pub day).... I think I'll have lost a little bit for tomorrow, but I'm concentrating more on next Friday because that will be over a week of being good, whereas tomorrow is only a few days. BIGGER PICTURE!

    Today we are having:

    B: Toast and marg - 5pp

    L: Leftover casserole (which was gorgeous and healthy if anyone wants the recipe!) 3pp

    D: Tandoori Chicken Pittas with Mango Chutney (ww recipe) 7pp

    Snacks will be about 5pp I reckon, so that's 20 points, meaning plenty to play with. I also have jazzercise this evening, which the plan manager says kills 4pps.... I think it must be much more, but I'll stick with 4 to be on the safe side. Feeling good after my jog last night too! Go me!

    Morning Nixxy, glad you are feeling positive, there's nothing like a good first loss for motivation!

    Feeling good food wise here, have been really good and not feelnig too hungry which is great. No walking to preschool this morning - coughed last night in bed and now have pain in the area of my section scar, so hoping to get to the GP this morning to get checked over and will be taking it easy until then. But will be good food wise:

    B: Rice krispies and milk

    L: Turkey sandwich

    D: Seafood risotto

    Snacks: Fruit and maybe a piece of Christmas cake

    Really hope this pain is nothing and I can get back to exercise again soon!

    Lovely positive post to start the day, well done ladies on your losses, come on the rest of us for tomorrow Kiss

     

    Exercise resumed last night for me and I completed a middle impact water aerobics class, loved it!! Totally felt the exercise buzz. Had a chat with my trained and have put together a get up to fitness plan which should see me training with him by the beginning of Feb. 

     

    So today for me :

     

    B:Fruit and fibre with semi skimmed milk

    L:Soup and yogurt

    D:chicken Kiev and veg

    Snacks: fruit and sunbakes plus a skinny latte (my guilty pleasure!)

    Have a good day ladies, can't wait for tomorrow Bounce

    Nixxy - Well done again on going for your jog in the horrible weather.  Fingers crossed for a loss tomorrow.

    Margot - Hope the pain is nothing and you can start exercising again.

    Nina - Well done on starting exercising again.

    AFM - I'm quite pleased how this week is going, I have been to the gym twice and am going tonight after work.  I have been good food wise as well, being below calories everyday. 

    Weekends are my downfall.  Tomorrow is my neice's birthday so we are all going out for a meal, I'm going to take the car and stick to diet coke and a tomato based pasta. 

    Not sure which day I'm going to get weighed on, I get weighed at the gym as our scales broke and I haven't replaced them, I work on a Friday so can't get to the gym in the morning.  I might make it a Saturday or a Wednesday, what do you think?

    Today

    B - Crumpet

    L - Soup and yoghurt

    D - Spag bol

    Snacks - grapes and if I've still got calories left I might have a biscuit or bit of chocolate.

    Morning ladies

     

    Sorry a quick one from me at the moment, am going out shortly and B isnt even dressed!

    Had my first weigh in of the NY on Tuesday, and managed to lose 6.5lb. The only good thing to come of having the Norovirus over NY!

    Good luck everyone, we can shift those LBs!

    SW - I spoke too soon yesterday and the wind here overnight was horrific. We live backed on to fields so our house gets gale force grrrr. I would be inclined to make WI a Saturday morning so you are more inclined to be good on Friday night?

    Koobie Wave Bloody hell I can't believe nearly half a stone off! Well done you - it's fab!

     

    Little change of plan from me, I shared S's cheerios for breakkie, which is 3 pp instead of 5 x

    Please xcuse my dumbness as I'm a newbie but I'm getting myself in a right old muddle. I weighed myself Tuesday it was 11stone something, then yesterday it said 10st 11lb, this morning it says 10st 5lb. I'm using the scales in the same place of the bathroom at the same time (first thing after my morning wee Laugh) It can't be right though can it?!

    Todays menu:

    B: no added sugar muesli with ss milk

    L: M&S superfood salad (quinoa, butternut squash, brocolli & pomegranite seeds), WW yoghurt

    D: chicken salad

    S: fruit salad

    KB3 - it could be possible being post Christmas and no booze. I wouldn't weigh yourself every day though as it can get disheartening. Might be worth trying the scales in boots of you still think its not right?! X

    Morning, nice to see everyone still sounding positive!

    I did well yesterday altogether. Went out in the evening with friends that I was supposed to see before Christmas. We had meze food, mainly veggie options, so I'm convincing myself that that cancels out the wine I drank Laugh. Although it was only about a third of a bottle so not an awful amount. We shared a dessert between three of us so it could have been worse.

    I also went for a walk during my half hour lunch break yesterday so that will have helped at little bit.

    Today I have had:

    Muesli and fruit for breakfast

    May have a boiled egg and toast for lunch, not exactly sure what bread we have, need to check

    Dinner we're having a baked fish recipe which is really low in calories but is also yummy

    And I'm going to stick on my exercise DVD in a bit. I was thinking of walking to the swimming pool but I don't fancy it in this windy weather so I'll do the exercise at home instead.

    Morning all.  I braved the weigh in last night and it's as bad as I feared but no worse.  I'm not counting that as official though because I want to make Friday morning my weigh in time - I consider last night an effort to soften tomorrow's blow.  Managed to stay within calories yesterday so I'm pleased about that and hoping to get to the gym tonight so will definitely be within today.  Think I'm going to amend my goal - if I make my goal 10.5 stone rather than 10 I think that's more achievable for me at the moment since I got completely stuck around 10st 9 last time and got very disheartened.  If I get stuck only 2 pounds away from goal I'll have a much more determined attitude I hope.

    KB3 yeah it could have been water retention from drinking and eating more than usual. If I'm honest though it does seem a big jump - Id be inclined to weigh on some different scales to get a good reading! Also weighing once weekly is much more accurate than once daily x

    Cedar Wave Well done on the walk, anything is better than nothing and a half hour walk is so good for the soul as well as body.

    CG - Well done with going to WI and for staying within calories! 10st 5lbs sounds like a good goal, I'll change it for you. When I lost weight before having S I got stuck at 9st 10lbs for ages. Then all of a sudden after weeks of trying with no result, the whole lot fell off! Stick with it x

    I'm starving already today. Think I might have to eat a bit more as I only shared Sawyer's breakkie this am x

    I feel so much better having only been on it again for a few days, my jeans already fit again!

    Margot - Hope the pain is niothing! Your christmas cake is doing well to last so long.

    NN - Bigger picture indeed...remember the scales are only what you weigh, its how you feel that really counts.

    NB- Yay for exercise hun.

    SW - Get some new scales for home! Good plan for your meal out.

    Koobie - Well done, what a bonus! Hope you feel better now.

    KB3 - Weigh in once a week at the same time - otherwise the scales fluctuates wildly. You will probably lose alot the first week due to water retention. Good food day planned, sounds yummy!

    Cedar - Yummy food, well done for not blowing it!

    CG - Good plan, hope the scales arenice to you tomorrow.

    S: fRUIT,  WATER, SQUASH, TEA, thats all I think, although going to akids tea party tonight, so hoping there are no adult foods!

    Have a doctor's appointment at 10.30 so hoping they will rule out anything nasty, it feels a little bit better now which is good. Still feeling a bit sorry for myself today though, so am consoling myself with a can of Diet Coke - rock and roll! I just really want to shake this cough now, it's so annoying.

    Can't wait to see what the results are for everyone tomorrow - hoping it's going to be a really good weigh in as everyone is working so hard!

    Morning all!

    KB3 - are the scales on a solid floor or carpet?  I find on a carpet they can be all over the place so always have to have it on solid floor (or until we just changed our bathroom floor a piece of wood!)

    Had another good day yesterday, apart from a couple of biscuits last night - ooops!  I put the lid on the sweet tins yesterday which really helped, no where near as tempted now I can't see what's inside them.  Hopefully will be another good day since I'm in the office again (usually my day off, but have got to work since it's year end).  I've now managed 3 days Dukan attack stage (apart from the biscuits Laugh) so today I can move onto the cruise phase and have vegetables - woohoo!

    Todays plan:

    B - oatbran porridge

    L - salad with tuna, yogurt

    S - crabsticks

    D - meatballs in tomatoes

    Sorry only just coming back to this been moving furniture around in the office.

    I know weekly weigh in is better but I just wanted to check the scales again after the two different weights on two different days earlier in the week. The scales are on the tiled bathroom floor, same place same time. I'll leave it until next week and see but might jump on the doctors ones tonight as I have an appointment.
