  • In what ways has Hitched helped you?

For me, from WP days when people used to tell you if you were being a numpty and to rein it in, to massive support when ttc and the great support I have had since struggling post birth.

What have been your most memorable times / help / support on here?

the support and info I gained when TTC and being diagnosed with endo (and needing ADs to cope) was invaluable, I really don't think I'd be holding my baby now without this place.  I have learned what is normal, acceptable and when to ask the doc for help, without that I doubt I woudl have ever realised I was an endo sufferer

I think is the support that other hitchers give you in terms of advice and kind words.  It's also the combined wealth of knowledge that hitchers have that always astounds me and is my first port of call for advice.

You are my go to gals for advice. Knowing that there is a network of support from people who will have been through all the same stuff is such a comfort!

I can spell and use grammar. I can also write adequate prose. I kust find these things hard on an Apple device.

I liked WP and found it useful to bounce ideas and generally to gush about stuff when people IRL got tired of hearing about it.

Though for me, Hitched really came into it's own around the time of my miscarriage. It's one of, if not the most difficult thing I've ever had to go through and the wonderful, kind and supportive ladies of BT really helped me get through it.

I just hope that in turn I can give back to those in need in future.

I got a lot of inspiration from WP, but BT has been such a massive support to me, and still is, since we lost our boy.

The knowledge I gained throughout my pregnancy and since, and I'm certain I wouldn't have become an extended BFer without this place - still give the occasional BF at 27 months

Without reading other posts on here, I don't think I'd have spotted the signs of PND so early, or found the strength to admit to it.

Support that you get from this community, and knowing there's always someone around anytime.

I've gained a lot of knowledge from here and a lot of support during my MCs.

Without here I wouldn't have gained positive feedback about the consultant I opted for to manage my pregnancy with C.

My first child (A) was prem and at the same time Sparkling's E was born. We both pretty much went through the same experience and it was great having someone who understood what it was like bringing a baby home on oxygen.

I've met some lovely ladies as part of the 'Bluewater' gang

Oh gosh.. in so many ways.  When I had E,  the advice was fab.  And when I mc everyone was so kind and lovely to me, it helped me get through a bad time.

And now, with E and his speech delay, therapy etc,  I can come here and sound off, share my lows and highs with it,  and know I'll always get kind words and support.

And now I love asking all those dumb pregnancy questions and when I ask them I feel normal again! (example- buzzy ladybits)

Hitched helps me alot,  everyday,  I probably come on here too much but I don't care!  I don't think people understand when I talk about 'the forum I use' , so I don't mention it anymore!

I don't think I'd have BF as long as I did without BT.  I did 21 months with C and 2.5 years with R.  I think almost everyone IRL thought I was strange, but here I felt normal!  I got a lot of help with BF here.

When they were babies it was always good having others in the same boat that you could rant to about the not sleeping!

The brilliant support when planning my wedding last year, making a really good friend too. For BT the massive support when I found out last week that I had a mmc x
