soooo H and I had a BIG bonfire last night and this morning the we decided to cook our chicken in the embers of the fire, so H dug out a pit in the hot embers and in it went at 11ish and it's coming out in the next half and hour
No idea if it will work at all, it's wrapped in 2 layers of foil greased with oil and butter and stuffed with smoked garlic onion and herbs 
. It'd better work I'm starving...if not it's roast potatoes and veg for lunch
