Im so disappointed with my sister but then it was bound to happen

I should start work at 7am this morning, my sister should have been here 20 minutes ago and now I dont know what to do.

Do I ring in sick or just ring them and let them know I will be late?

This looks so unprofessional its untrue. Whats worse is I know she went out last night so even if she does turn up she will be drunk and Im not sure I could trust her to get Sophia to school on time.

So what do I do ladies???

Definitely call now and let them know you are running late.  I would say childcare has let me down but I am sorting it out but not sure if you want to let them know you have unreliable childcare.  But think it is a short term placement? If so yup just let them know you will be in asap and they can cover until you get there.

Hope she turns up soon.

Forgot to say I wouldn't call in sick as if you or one of the kids does get ill you will be annoyed you wasted a sick day.  Hope she has turned up now.

She hasnt turned up yet or called so I have had to call in sick as I wont now be able to get there until about 10ish which then wouldnt be fair on the nursing staff and I would look a complete plank.

I am so annoyed in her.

How annoying.  She is going to feel a lot worse than hungover when you get hold of her!!

Isnt she just, I dont think I am going to do angry just disappointed. Whats annoying is that I have to rely on her for all my early  shifts. OH well I guess it means that I can take Sophia to school again today.

Well I am guessing she will be a happy little girl.

I read some of your blog last night, you are doing an amazing job!  Your kids are going to be so proud of their Mum when they are old enough to realise how much you have done by yourself for them and you.

Oh thank you lovely, some of the tasks are just small ones and others are huge hurdles I some how have to drag us all across, I will get there and it will make out family unit alot more secure.

However I wouldnt say a fantastic job, I would say scraping by.

I don't think raising two children single handedly, training to be a nurse AND losing weight all at the same time can be classed as scraping by TBH.
