    Hi,

I have 9 months til my wedding and I want to start gathering nice things asap!  I'm really into recycling things so would love to buy once-used things from another happy bride.

Our wedding is in a barn in the country.  I'm interested in all sorts of things from lanterns, table decorations, hanging decorations and so on.  I'm also interested making my own arrangements - so large quantities of fabrics like organza or voile and scraps of paper / material.  It seems such a waste to buy it all new!

I'd much rather buy from a bride than a company, so tell me what you have!

    Thanks!

    Hiya,

I had a similar theme wedding, I made loads of bunting to go round the edge of the tables. Also have 2 wicker hearts which went on the church gates which might interest you.

Think i might have some scraps of fabric which oculd be of use, have floral paper that i used to make confetti cones. Also our table plan which you could amend slightly with your guests details.

I'm new to this so not sure the best way to send you pictures. Let me know and i'll get some over to you.

    Hi,

We got married in a marquee at home a few weeks ago (we have stables and barns so it was very rustic!) and we did everything ourselves.  We've got a box of goodies - rolls of tulle, ribbons, homemade gingham tablecloths, etc.  some used and some still in its original wrapping.  It's ivory and blue as you can see from the picture.

I'd be delighted if some one could use it - if you're near us in Essex, very happy for you to pick it up for free.  Or email me if you'd like more info:  lisa@shottonphotography.com.

We got married in a hotel but did it all ourselves and our colour scheme was cream and burgandy, I have some rolls of organza in various sizes left over, some satin ribbons and probably a biggish box of rose petals which I used for decorating the tables with.

Im not sure what colour scheme your after but let me know if any help to you.
