Finally sorted my bridesmaids!

...Which in turn means we now have a colour scheme! Wooo...not bad going for 5 months before the wedding

I originally wanted champagne BM dresses but found that a lot of them in that shade were really light so it was almost veering towards ivory a bit too much. So instead I've gone for a slightly darker shade, it's like a light cappuccino really but has a goldy sort of finish too (if that makes any sense!) So we're going for that with lots of creams in the flowers, and we're also going to include lots of different orange shades too as I think that will set off the colours really well and give it a bit of a summer feel.

Definitely feel as if things are coming together now!

Anyone else done anything weddingy this weekend?

I had a good weddingy weekend too so am feeling very jolly for a Monday morning!

Sounds like a really nice colour scheme! I need to get a move on, still got invites waiting to be sent out and it's 3 months today! ARGH!

Not had a weddingy weekend but got a weddingy week. I am at the moment looking at tags for the favours, the favours and looking for something to put the favours in. I am then having the bride round sometime this week to sort out a photographer and plan what she wants for the reception.

Also been looking for a second bridesmaid dress for my daughter. Being as it is a wedding abroad she is going to have to wear her dress for the reception back here aswell. So we are going to get her a second dress which she can change into for the evening bbq on the beach over there so she still looks nice for the pictures but does not spoil her original dress.

OK...well the dresses are Alfred Angelo 7006 and the colour will be Cafe 111 - found pics on the site but they don't really show off the detail of them, and my bridesmaids looked much better in them than the model! Honestly...I know I am biased but it's true

The detailing on the back is gorgeous, and would especially tie in quite well with my dress which is also a lace up back

The berry colour is similar to the colour of my daughters bridesmaids dress.

I know...tell me about it! Who would have thought we'd ever have a weekend where I finally order my bridesmaid dresses and Shoe finally finds a dress...you never know, we might actually start getting organised now?!
