(I should start by saying I am most definitely and definitively Not Pregnant)

For the past 3 days I have felt incredibly nauseus. I've not been sick but I have felt right on the edge of vomiting. No stomach pain, apart from period pains (I'm at the end of a period) and eating seems to help for a bit. I'm also feeling completely wiped out. I slept from 9pm to 8am and woke up knackered. I'm feeling generally pathetic and a bit shivery. Just went out for a walk and had to head back after 5 minutes as I felt cold and weak.

    Theories so far:

    1) Mild bug (parents and sisters have had noro)

    2) Some kind of period/hormone/blood loss thing

    3) Reaction to cutting out processed crap (am trying to shift a stone before a certain charidee ball). I am eating incredibly well though - lots of lean protein, good carbs and veggies.

Anyone got any suggestions? Any ideas what to do with a hyper toddler when all you want to do is sleep

    flu?

and cbeebies for the toddler or the cricket.  ours is fairly engrossed in that this morning.

I'd say some sort of virus, particularly if your family have been unwell, perhaps you just have it mildly. Hope you're feeling better soon x

I had a mind once, now I have small children.

Thanks for the replies to my utterly self indulgent post!

Thus far E has only really watched INTG and occasionally Waybaloo. I sense an expansion in her cbeebies viewing coming on.....might also try cricket.

It sounds very much like what I had last weekend.

I woke up feeling relatively ok on Saturday morning. Went out shopping with Mr S and the boys. Was meeting Mr S for hotchoc in Costa and while I was sitting there waiting for him to arrive suddenly felt totally exhausted and rather queasy... so much so that I did wonder for a while if I could be pregnant. (No such luck unfortuantely!) Anyway, decided I couldn't face a hotchoc (unheard of) and we came straight home. As the day went on I felt worse and worse, never actually sick, but did develop the runs as the day went on.  Went to bed at 6.30 that evening and woke up the next day feeling absolutely fine.

    Hope you feel better soon.

OMG, I've had the same thing. Sounds like a Kleek virus! (Not pregnant either but did actually question it!)

Poor you, I had something similar and felt so wiped out it was an effort to go and make a cup of tea.  Hope you feel better soon xx
