My toddler was looking out of the window the other day:
"Mummy, mummy, its raining! Everwhere is wet. I'm going to splash in puddles. Splash! Splash! Splash! "(and spent a couple of minutes jumping round the room).
Then a few minutes later she ran back to the window:
"Oh Mummy, its stopped raining now. Its all bright and sunny, I don't like it. The rain has stopped. So...GO! GO! GO!" (gets frustrated and turns to my H):
"I can't do it all by myself Daddy, help me! Go! Go!"
My H had to explain that after all these years he still couldn't make the rain go or stop or control the weather. She wasn't impressed and seemed very annoyed she couldn't make the rain start again!
