    Morning Lovelies!

Kellfi - all the best for the drip today and hope Baby K decides to come out.

CC - hope all is going well.

Dinx - hope labour is pregressing well

Baby out vibes to BB and LBP

Well, I am pleased to report that I slept better - woke a few times for wee stops, but managed to get back to sleep and none of this lying awake for a few hours malarky!  Yay!  Jack also slept well for Daddy and is currently mesmerised by Peppa Pig!

Pelvis is still sore and seems to be getting a bit more sore each day - still, not long left and baby will be out and pelvis back to normal!  Baby is wriggling away nicely  Apart from the odd dull ache in my lower back no 'signs', so I don't think I'll be able to fulfil H's request to 'pop' this weekend!  Totally invoking the law of s0d - got a tesco delivery this afternoon, Boots delivery on Wednesday and H has to go to Manchester all day on thursday and won't be home until about 7-8pm.  Not sure what plans we have today - H is hoping to take Jack in the pushchair for a walk this morning with his sister and then I think I'm picking them up and we're all going for lunch.  Means I get a morning to myself.  The afternoon will then be a quiet one at home.  Not sure about tomorrow at all - I feel like I should 'do' things whilst we only have the one child etc, but then I'm tired and feel like just sitting on the sofa!

Hope we are all well and have lovely plans for the weekend.  Not sure if you know, but it seems that if you order a  mamas and papas catalogue you get a £5 gift card - it's valid for 1 month and only one can be used per transaction - still, it's something for nowt!

    Morning!

This is an early start for me - haven't been sleeping that well but with all the stuff going on in the house we're not getting to bed till late.

Wren - Wave  good morning! Glad you had a better sleep last night. I'm finding it hard not to symptoms spot (even though I've no clue what I am really looking out for) - it's worse than the 2ww! Your day sounds lovely - enjoy the you time this morning. Know what you mean about the law of sod - H is starting night shift next weekend and now I'm convinced labour will start the minute he leaves me!

Well now at term and getting excited - no doubt will still be here waiting in 5 weeks but trying not to think about that at the moment. Baby's head not yet engaged so will be doubling my efforts to guide it in there! I need my bump to drop so I can breathe and the heartburn can settle a bit! House is looking great - still have loads to get for baby but we are getting there. Off to paint some nursery furniture this morning (well I'll probably watch H do it now) and tea and cake with a friend then going to look for some curtains for nursery.

Baby out vibes to all who need them - can't wait to see some more BAs this weekend. Has Dinx popped? I couldn't see any BAs when I checked....

Morning Wren! - glad you had a better night sleep, and a fairly relaxing weekend ahead. My LO was up at 6.30am and is busy doing stickers at the mo..

I am ok today, thankfully almost over my throat/respiratary infection and heading back to work on Monday - have worked out that I am only in the office for about 10 days till I leave on maternity leave, mainly due to working at home days or on A/L so pleased about that! Dont leave till 3rd Dec but frightening thats only about 5 weeks away.

Quiet weekend ahead as H is working Sat and Sun - off to Hobby craft this morning and possibly mothercare to get the crib mattress. Making some carrot cupcakes this afternoon wiht LO and settling down for Strictly and X factor later (what a life I lead!!!). Baby was moving loads at 6.30am so possibly quiet during the day today..

Congrats to Dinx and baby out vibes to BB and LBP

prob missed someone posting, so apologies for that..

    Morning!

Wren - so glad you slept better and Jack slept for your H. Hopefully you can stockpile some sleep up as you will need it soon lovely! Sounds like you have some you time this morning as well so make the most of it.

fishtree - wow 37 weeks - where has the time gone? Hope you get the nursery sorted this afternoon and enjoy meeting your friend.

bones - hope you continue to feel better and sounds like you have a relaxing weekend planned.

I am going to be lazy and copy last nights update. I had a rubbish nights sleep, but still woke up at usual time!

Hi ladies - just thought I would pop on with a quick update.

It went a lot better than I expected, which wasn't hard seeing as I went in with zero expectations! Everyone was civil and polite and FIL was being SUPER nice. Bratski behaved beautifully. It was MIL I felt sorry for, she just looked so relieved.

I'm happier in the knowledge that open hostility has ended and proud of myself for not rising to FIL's nastiness over the past year. Mr K is happy that I can at least tolerate his parents for a couple of hours. So, it's a start - I don't think I will ever trust them again or be best friends, but I can put up with them.

I had to head off for a nap though when I got back as the stress seemed to leave me shattered - I only got up a short while ago!

Huge thank you to you ladies for putting up with me moaning for what feels like forever. It's really helped having a place that I can rant and you alldeserve medals for putting up with it. Thank you. Hug

And I really do appreciate all the hand holding that you ladies have done - thanks again.

    Morning Wave

Wren - a morning doing very little sounds ideal, make the most of chilling out while you can. Hope your hip pains don't get too bad, but like you day, once baby is here they should clear up!

Fishtree - congratulations to making it to term! Hope the work being done on your house isn't too disruptive and you can still have a relaxing weekend

bones - carrot cupcakes sound lovely - do you ice yours? I've made little carrot cakes before without icing and people mistook them for choclate cakes, but still loved them Laugh

Me - I didn't sleep too well. Was awake at 5.15 and never fully went back to sleep after that, not sure why. Only needed one wee break in the night too...I have a sleeping H in bed, he was rather squiffy last night, so just as well things didn't happen for me. He has said that it would be most convenient if the baby could come around the 14th Nov due to his work commitments, but that would make me 10 days overdue, and I don't really fancy that. Anwyay, it's up to Spamlet when s/he makes an appearance...

Not sure what we're up to today, probably go to the market, maybe go to the cinema. Might meet up with FIL tomorrow as he's just got back from being in France for the summer.

    Morning ladies!

Hi Wren hope you have a good day today, sounds like this would be a great week to have your baby!! I also feel like I should 'do' stuff before it gets too hard, I think we should resistLaugh

HI Fishtree, lots of 'drop baby drop' vibes for you!  sounds like you have got a busy day planned, don't push yourself too hard!

All good here, R slept til 7 Bounce and I only woke a few times, so I feel positively rested!!  I think my bump has dropped, which has got to be a good sign.  We are going for a walk this morning, just down to the shops but it will take ages!  then I want to go and have R's feet measured.  H is going to watch rugby this afternoon so I will be doing bedtime on my own.  I find lugging the child out of the bath hard.  He loves his bath and doesn't make it easy for me.  He has also taken to getting in and lying down immediately and won't sit up and spends the whole time doing this ROTFL.  It is very sweet!

good luck CC and Kelfi.  I am off to find Dinx's BA now!  Lots and lots of baby out vibes for BB and LBP.

    much love all

Hi Katamari - I've not seen an update for Dinx either, will go and have a nosey in a mo. I'm so pleased things were OK yesterday, it's a massive step that you've taken, now just remember to take little steps from here on and try not to let the ILs take over your lives again! Really happy for you all though xx

Forgot to say in my previous post, baby out vibes for Dinx LBP and BB Bounce and hope Kellfi and CC are doing OK too

Fishtree - Excellent for getting to term - proper countdown begins now! Enjoy the painting, cake and finding curtains.   I might have jumped the gun for Dinx - I know there was a 'she's in labour' thread, but think pregnancy brain struck and I've had her give birth....... may she has!

bones - glad your infection is almost gone.  yay for only 10 more days in work.  Your day sounds lovely - send some cupcakes this way!

Kat - really pleased that yesterday went well and hope that things continue well from now on.  Take care and have a relaxing weekend after all the stress.

Morning Spam! Loving your H's request of when you give birth! Will he not be on PL anyway by then? Sounds like you have a nice weekend, hope your FIL has brought you back some yummies from France! And the IL's will not be taking over again - I think even they realise about baby steps. Heres hoping anyway!

CE - Glad you slept well, have fun today on your walk. Don't envy you doing bathtime solo though although R sounds adorable!

Apologies for causing confusion (and delay.... I watch too much Thomas the Tank!)..... I was a bit enthusiastic with congratulations and don't actually think Dinx has given birth yet, at least there hasn't been a BA, just an update that she is in labour.  Oooooops!  Will ammend my original post to avoid causing any more confusion!

    Morning all,

Wren -enjoy your morning off. Don't put yourself under pressure to do lots of stuff as a family of three - you need to rest!

Fishtree - enjoy your tea and cake and hope the furniture painting is highly successful!

Bones - sounds like you have a nice weekend planned. I'm already looking forward to SCD which is rather sad!

Katamari - sounds like yesterday went as well as it could? Well done you for handling it with such grace and hope things continue on this positive note.

Spam - It is my H's 30th next Saturday and I am not sure whether I should ask for some sort of limit on drinking or just cross my fingers that baby doesn't arrive! Have a lovely day - what are you going to see at the cinema?

Chuckie Egg - I keep starting at my bump in front of the mirror, trying to tell if it's dropped! Is it really obvious? Have a good day and make sure you get your feet up at some point!

Huge baby-out vibes for BB, Dinx, Kellfi, CC and LBP - we're thinking of you! Bounce

Me - Still pretty busy with my sister and niece visiting, which is why I haven't been hitching much. Felt quite uncomfortable last night but am really not ready for this baby to come so am hoping they will stay put for another few weeks! My sister is throwing me a baby shower today which will be lovely but means there is a bit of getting ready to do this morning. Some of my long-distant friends I haven't seen at all during the pregnancy so I will have to see what they make of my bump!

Hope you all have a great weekend,

    Katy

Morning Chuckie Egg - bath time with R sounds like fun. I loved bathtime when I was little. Enjoy your waddle walk down to the shops, make sure you get yourself a little treat while you are there!

spam- sorry you didn't sleep so well.  Enjoy your day whatever you decide to do - I haven't been to the cinema in ages.... it's going to be a while before I ever go!

CE - Glad sleep was good for you.  Jack loves his bathtime - only have a bath when H is here to help though as I struggle with bump now.

Katy - enjoy your baby shower and seeing all your friends.
