Morning Everyone
I have sneaked downstairs for a cuppa and some hitching before my H and DD surface. I am amazed that she is still asleep - she came along to our room and woke me at 6.30(now 5.30am I suppose) and tried to get in with us, but I took her back to her bed. She went back into her own bed without any arguments but then lay there coughing for a good half an hour before dropping back off. I wish she would shake this cough - she's had it for about a month now.
Anyhow....
Wren - I expected to see you here early lovely but am glad you had a productive day yesterday and hope Jack too manages to get rid of his cough/cold.
Looby - Have a lovely lunch with your friends today and hope Sproglet decides to put in an appearance too. I can feel your frustration at wanting the baby out now. With my DD I only got to 35 weeks so was completely unprepared but hope I might get nearer to term this time round.
El11 - Glad you had a nice day yesterday.
CE - Glad you enjoyed your wedding. Sorry to hear you've not slept well - hope you can catch up a bit at some point during the day.
Mixie -HOpe you manage to get a swim in and that your pelvis is not too painful
Kat - Happy BIrthday to Mr K hope you all have a lovely day.
As for me, my cold is at last starting to clear up a bit, so H returned to our bed last night - he'd slept in the spare room for the past 2 nights as apparently my snoring was off the scale with my cold on top of being pg! I hope, fingers crosed, that I am getting over this tummy bug I've had too. It started on Weds night and I've been existing on toast mainly since then. Yesterday I had poached egg on toast for lunch and then for tea we had Roast Chicken so I risked a smallish portion. My tummy didn't complete rebel last night so I really hope it is on its way out now. I've been a prisoner in my own home for 3 days now as couldn't risk being more than two minutes from a loo
Apologies in advance to Mixie for saying this but it was quite possibly the tastiest roast ever, after not eating really for 3 days.
Pregnancy wise, the bean is wriggling around quite a bit and apart from a bit of lower backache and hips aching a bit in bed at night, I am feeling ok. Tired of course, but not sure if this is just due to the toddler/pregnancy combo or the added complications of being ill this week. I have a midwife appt this week so am looking forward to hearing the heartbeat again hopefully and I suppose chatting about delivery a bit more. Now I'm on the third tri thread the labour part is becoming a bit more real and I am quite nervous about it, despite it being my 2nd time.
Anticipating another lazyish day at home today. May take DD to the library later if I think my tummy will let me as it is not good for her to be cooped up indoors either.
Well baby out vibes to those that need them. Congrats to Plummary, GA and Debsie - hope we see some more BAs soon.
Have a good Sunday all
