We're in Falkirk so near to Glasgow, but it would all depend on the cost to be honest.

have you thought about looking for a photographer nearer to home who does similar? my friend done aarons pictures on a cd for us for £30. 50 people just seems like quite a lot to try and get!

Yeah its looking like it will be hard to get the numbers to make it worthwhile.

Which is a pity as I really like the Whitebox ones Sad

MrsJKN,  why not contact Nikki Mcleod and ask her for prices for a group.  She has recently set up a studio at a soft play centre in dalgety bay.  That would be ideal and her photography is stunning.

I can't see how Whitebox could possibly do 50 bookings in one go!  That'd take days to do and i think you would be rushed in your sitting.

I'm sure as a hitcher,  Nikki would be able to arrange a fun sitting, excellent images and would be delighted to photograph a lot of BT children.

50 is a huge amount of people.  I would source a local photographer whose style you like and go through them, I imagine you would get more time and photos by doing that

I didn't realise that Nikki was based beside Play Planet, Aoife and I are there a lot!

I've been looking to get Aoife's photo taken but a friend recommended a place in Kirkcaldy to and he has fab photos and is very reasonable priced so there are definitely some good photographers who don't charge the earth.

I think you only get a 10 minute slot for Whitebox so 6 an hour. She would still need to work 8 hours straight to do 50 though!

Getting someone local to do something similar could be a really good idea. Smile

Just some info on Whitebox - you get a 15 minute session (we've always had more than 130 photos in that time) and you get every photo taken, on disk, plus the copyright straight after your session.  The cost is £30 (I'm assuming they'd do the usual deal, although not sure whether it might be a couple of quid more if they're travelling to do it).  Anyway, it's a fabulous deal, we've had three sessions now and have always been really pleased.  Ooh and they usually have more than one photographer so 50 is easily doable for them.

    From our recent session:

    Just after Jack was born:

    Very first session (pre-Jack!)

    Amber Marie was born 30th July 2007 (ONLY 17 days late!) - 8lb 13oz

Jack William arrived at home on 26th Feb 2009 (13 days late) - 10lb 1.5oz

    Bella Rose was born 15th July 2011 (7 days late) - 10lb 5oz

natasha, you should call in and see her.  she spends an hour on a sitting but it would probably be less than that if there were a few hitchers interested in it.

I think her photographs are amazing,  I am trying to think of reasons for a session with her other than, "I want glam pics of me!"  lol

Check out her pics of jacks 1st day at school,  she did them in her studio that morning and they are excellent!  I don't think i'd like to be rushed getting pics done if i had children in case they got grumpy or wouldnt play ball!
