    Morning Lovelies!

H went away for work at lunchtime yesterday (back this afternoon), so I was flying solo yesterday.  Boy wonder spent most of the afternoon determined to show off that he can climb onto the coffee table - he has little legs, so it's quite impressive, but he knows he shouldn't do it and even shakes his head at me sometimes whilst he's climbing up.  I lost count as to how many times I had to haul him off the table!  Good thing was he did wear himself out and was asleep just before 7pm and slept through until 5.45am (which is  a good night here!).  He's in nursery all day today, so I have a day to myself - hoping to tidy the living room, H's clothes (it's always a mess!), knit and rest.

Some of you may have seen my post wobbling about going away.  As a treatt before #2 and for my 30th H and I have booked 2 nights at The Swan Hotel in Grasmere - without Jack.  I feel bad for leaving him at home, but on the other hand feel like H and I need to have a little break and time to be a couple before we're surrounding in the madness that is 2 under 2!  I've only left Jack for one night since he was born and that was under pressure as Jack wasn't invited to my brother's wedding - I only agreed to leave him if H stayed at home with him, so he had at least one parent.  I just feel a bit bad that we are leaving Jack behind and spoiling ourselves, but then I see how many couples have their relationship tested by having a baby.  We've been fine so far, but just want to make sure that we have a bit of time to 'reconnect' and be a couple before we have our hands full with Jack and #2.

Pregnancy wise - all is well.  Lots of movement, but hips/back still sore.  Listened to the cd that came with my hypnobirthing book - it certainly helped me get to sleep....don't remember much of it! Scary thing is, next week is when it's time to start listening to my natal hypnotherapy birth prep cd - where has the time gone?

Hope we are all ok.  Thinking of Tulip today and looking forward to her BA.

Wave Wren, you just beat me to it. I'm up early this morning, but its nice to have some peace and quiet.

Sounds like Jack is keeping you very busy, I wouldn't feel too guilty about going away, Jack will have a good time and it is always good to get some couple time.

I've got 8 days to go till due date, getting very scared now. Not only going through the birth the weeks afterwards I just remembering feeling like I had been hit by a bus with L. Hopefully, it won't be like that with this one. I bought a gym ball yesterday to sit on, but it looks like I may got one that is a bit too small. Me and L are off to a new toddler group this afternoon so that should be nice. I also need to make ante natal appointment with the Dr as my midwife is on holiday. Other than that, we don't have much planned, it is getting very hard trying to keep a toddler entertained now.

Hope everyone is ok and it will be great to see Tulips BA.

Morning Wren Wave - try and not feel guilty about going away.  Jack will undoubtedy have a wonderful time with Granny / his aunt and it'll be good for your relationship to have a little time just the two of you.  If I wasn't so travel restricted we'd have done the same before Thing2 arrives (especially as its just been our 5th wedding anniversary), as it is we'll do something in the Spring.  Not sure if it helps but I've travelled a fair bit overnight away from B since she's been 6 months and every time she surprises me by being so unfazed by it all (and the incredible smiles I get when I do come home !)

I'm counting down to 34 weeks and my consultant appointment on Thursday.  I'm at my parents whilst Mr Rabbit is in Hong Kong and enjoying a bit of TLC and understanding (they lost their 2nd baby just after birth so have been there / done it)

Looking forward to hearing Tulip's new later (fingers and toes crossed !)

Hope everyone else has a good Monday Wave

Mornng Mrs_C - I'm dreading the post-birth feeling too. Birth was fine, but afterwards I felt so sore!  Didn't help getting mastitis 5days after giving birth - I felt so ill, shivering etc even though it was a really hot day.  Enjoy toddler group.  I can imagine how hard it must be entertaining a toddler, particularly for you - I'm finding it hard now, but realise that has bump packs on the pounds in these last weeks it'll get harder!  HOpe you get chance to put your feet up at some point.

Hi there TWR - missed you!  Glad you are being pampered at your parents.  I know Jack will be ok - might get a bit upset when it's not me or H that tend to him in the night if he wakes up, but he's fine when he knows we aren't about - only cries and cries with others when we are in the house because he knows we're available if that makes sense! I hope that thing2 is ok and thinking about you both lots.  Take care x

And Mrs_C sorry I missed you - hope that you're ok, think it is actually harder with No2 - you know what to expect from labour (and that scares me and I've got a while to go)

Hope you have a nice quiet day and enjoy bouncing on that ball (are your thighs slightly slanted up rather than down - if not it might be a bit small)

    Morning ladies.Wave

Firstly, huge congrats to Petal (I'm a bit late, I know), and masses of good luck vibes for Tulip. Looking forward to the b/a.

As for me - sorry, but its going to be a bit of a 'me me me' post today.
I feel awful. Nausea has returned, I've got a gammy eye thats all red and swollen making me look like I've bee punched, instead of just having sciatica, my back now aches all over, my bump and belly are sore and I've got a thumping headache, and I'm so so tired. Oh, what a bundle of joy I am today.
I'm also seriously stressing about a letter I got from the docs on Sat. They need me to ring them to discuss test results. Thats literally ALL it says. I have no idea if its to do with the blood tests, urine tests or what. It doesn't help that the letter came on Saturday morning, when the docs aren't open, so I've had all weekend to stew over it. I'v now managed to work myself up into a right panic and am utterly convinced there's something wrong.  Not just 'wrong' but seriously wrong.
Its my own fault really - I've not had anything unusual pregnancy wise to speak of. Dates were all fine, measurements all spot on, scans positively average etc.....so its about time I buggered something up somewhere.

Sorry for lack of personals and for being such a misery guts today. Don't mean to drag the thread down.

    Morning lovlies!

Wren - Sounds like J is keeping you on your toes! And please don't feel guilty about having some couple time with just you and H. It's just as important to keep your couple relationship going strong as it is your family one IYKWIM?

Mrs C - SOunds like a quite and active day so close toyour due date! Hope your LO has fun at the toddler group and the MW goes well.

TWR - Glad you are being spoiled at your spoiled. Take care lovely.

As for me, nice and quiet and relaxed yesterday. Mr K and Bratski went to ice hockey leaving me at my parents with my younger brother as well. It was so odd it being the four of us again! Got into a minor squabble with my brother which resulted in my mum telling us off as if we were 5 years old again.Embarrassed However, I had a lovely day and just don;t want to go back to work today! I now have 7 weeks to go - they can't go fast enough especially as I now have earlier starts (but earlier finishes as well).

Lots of vibes for Tulip today and hope everyone else is well.

    Morning Mazzy!

Huge Hug for you, stupid doctors stressing you out like that! I really hope it's something minor - I am sure if it was urgent, they would have rung you up and asked to see you immediatley.

Don't be daft about the me, me, me post either - we are here to support you, you silly moo!

I really have to dash to get ready for work (earlier starts) but will be on later tonight if you need an ear. Hope you feel better and brighter soon.Hug

Hug Mazzy - try not to worry, like Kat said if it was urgent, I am sure they would have rung you.

Kat - no matter how old you get, I think it's compulsory to regress when with your sibling..... know my brother and I have some spats, but then again that's mostly because he's a pain! Hope the next 7 weeks in work go quickly.  Good luck to Mr K for his course start - can't remember when you said it started (pregnancy brain!).

    Morning everyone.

Wren  , Jack sounds like a little busy bee , keeping you on your toes , enjoy the day to yourself today.

Mrs-C  ,  Enjoy your day at the toddler group.

TWR  ,  Hope Thursday comes quickly for you and enjot the TLC at your parents.

I've got week off , woo woo , mum ans sister are also off so a little bit of shopping is in order.

Kian is back at school today , so will be getting him up in half an hour.

My hips at night are killing me , no matter which side i lay on , part of pregnancy i guess.

We went to my friends 30th at the weekend , a lady i havn't met before kept trying to get me to drink , then when she realised i was pregnant , she struck up conversation and said "do you know what you're having?"

    Me " Yes , boy"

Her " Oh , have you got any , already?"

    Me " Yes , i've a 9 year old boy"

Her  " Aww , another boy , will you try for a girl"

Me " Absolutely not , i love my boys"

Her " I know but it's always nice to have one of each".

At which point my H swiftly pulled me away , i think he could see steam coming out of my ears Laugh.

Hope everyone has a lovely day and will be watching out for Tulips BA.

    Duck 33 Baby boy.

Thanks ladies. I'm having a bad day, which isn't helping matters either. I know I shouldn't worry and that I've blown it all out of proportion, but I AM worried. Sad
I also know work will be a nightmare today, so thats something else to look forward to. I'd dearly love to not go in and just sleep all day, but thats not going to happen in a million years.

    Morning girls!

Oh good luck to Tulip, bless her.

Wren, I hope you enjoy your little break with your H - pls don't feel guilty about it.  Everything you have said makes perfect sense - Jack will have a lovely time and it really will do you and H the world of good to have a bit of time to yourselves before this new little babe comes along.  Especially as Jack is an early riser - you might even have a lie in hey?!!

Hello Mrs_C.  I am a little bit behind you but since starting mat leave last week it has really hit me that this babe is coming.  I had a really tough time with Alex when he was a baby and it makes me so sad thinking about that and that it might happen again this time round.  I keep going over and over in my head what did I do wrong and how to change things this time.  Hey ho.  Hope the new toddler group is fun - will be a nice thing for L to get into over the next few months xx

Hi TWR - glad to hear that you are getting a bit of R&R at your parents.  I can't imagine how difficult it must be trying not to think about Thurs all the time.  Fingers crossed all will be fine - you're almost at 34 weeks and the babe will be well developed and a good weight by now xx

Hi Mazzy.  Do you know you're allowed to have an off day?  You always seem so cheerful, bless you.  That must have been horrible getting that letter when you can do nothing about it.  I hope you get your mind put at rest today.  If it's any consolation my friend got a letter the same as this too - she had to have one set of bloods repeated because the test showed 'inconclusive' and the results came back fine and she is now 37 weeks xx

Hello Katamari.  Sounds like a nice day yesterday, loving your mum telling you both off!  Poor you going off to work.  If you are anything like me the last few weeks at work did fly by, so I wish the same for you.

Me - I'm off to the hospital today for hopefully my final scan (I have anti-E antibodies and also taking tablets for high BP so they have been taking no chances with me).  Will be lovely to see the babe - I had such a standard pregnancy with Alex that I didn't have any extra scans, so I'm not sure how the baby will look at this late stage.  Other than that, I (think) I feel like Mrs_C - maybe I'll do a separate post about it, so worried about how it will be with this new baby.  How will I cope?  Mine and H's relationship was tested to the absolute limit the first time round and now I have Alex in the mix as well.  I feel everything is like a runaway train at the moment.

Anyway, wishing everyone a good day.

    E, 37+5 xx

Hello Duck.  Hope Kian gets to school OK.  I know the painful hip feeling, poor you, I do hope you got some sleep.

I can't believe that lady!  Firstly, have you got the neatest bump in the world if she didn't notice at 33 weeks?!!  Secondly, I think your H did well to move you away before a punch up ensued!  Why do some people think like that?  I get a bit of the opposite as we are expecting a girl and we have a little boy already - "Ah, the perfect family, no need for any more"  Well, no that doesn't make it perfect and why would that mean we wouldn't want any more children?  You were very restrained! xx

    Morning all!

Wren - I remember that phase with T, feeling like I was saying no 50 billion times a day.  Actually, we still have lots of days like that!

Mrs_C - enjoy your new toddler group.  I'm really nervous already about having another baby, I didn't find having a newborn easy first time round either.  At least we know there is light at the end of the tunnel this time.

TWR - some R&R sounds like just what you need - I still have everything crossed for Thursday for you.

Mazzy - get it out, that's what I say....if you can't stress on here, where can you?  I'm sure you've nothing to worry about (said the neurotic pregnant woman), but I'll send you some 'everything is fine' vibes all the same.  Hug

Kat - me and my brother do that childhood regression thing when we're all together too <whine> it's sooo unfair that you got a telling off </whines> I bet it was all your brother's fault.Laugh

Duck no More - I get that here all the time.  The ideal way to have kids here in Vietnam is to have a boy and then a girl, which is how it has worked for us, but it bugs me no end when people congratulate me on it, as though I'd have been gutted to have had two boys (which I so wouldn't have been).  Grrr.   I can only imagine how worked up I'd get if I was having another boy and everyone saw fit to comment on that.

Elster - hope you get your scan today.  If you do a separate post, I'll be reading it with interest as I'm worried about having a toddler and a newborn....actually just having a newborn again is scaring the bejeesus out of me.  T was a really difficult baby and I'm not sure how I would manage with another like him.

I'm feeling pretty good today, T slept in until 6.45am, which is nothing short of a miracle and when he went to playschool I came back to the house and vegged about all morning watching telly and eating yoghurts.  Now he's having a nap I'm watching more telly and hitching.  Bliss!  Now if baby bunting could just stop booting me in the bladder, I'd be very grateful!
