Goldfish Centerpieces

Hello Everyone!  I'm sorry I haven't been on the board lately.  I'm really close to the end of my planning (leave for SA on the 25th!) and it's just been really hectic.  I'm trying not to stress though.  I'm hoping you can help me with something.  A friend of mine is getting married at the end of the month and is wanting a goldfish centerpiece.  However she doesn't want to use real goldfish as she's animal friendly and doesn't want to harm them.  She's seen rubber fish that are really good but when she went to go and purchase them they were sold out and it didn't seem likely that they would get any more (this was in SA).  I want to have a look here but I did some searches on google without much luck.  Was hoping that someone here had the answer.  

Also, she has these led lights which are submersible and when she's been battling to anchor them.  They're going in fish bowls.  How can she anchor them long enough to last the entire evening?

Personally, I wouldn't bother with the fish.

You could anchor down the lights with coloured glass blocks/stones at the bottoms of the bowls a bit like this;

Sounds like a good idea, especially the fish friendly part. I am not sure a solution but there is a list of Wedding Fishbowl Suppliers on http://www.thewedding-guide.net/FishbowlVases.html and maybe one of those might be able to help you with a solution.

The best way to "anchor" the lights is to use florists Tac that will stick the lights to the bottom of the vase , keeping them in situ. We use this for tall lily vases but will work equally well for goldfish bowls.
