HRML - photo shoot with Izzy - inspiration please! (and share your professional piccies.....)

Afternoon all

We have been bought a photo shoot as a christening pressie for Isobel, and the photographer is coming to our house next Saturday to do the shoot.

So,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ladies of hitched, please can you inspire me?

a) what sort of thing do I want? (natural, rather than posed, but shall we go outdoors (have horses, dogs etc), or stay indoors?

b) what shall I dress Izzy and H in

c) what the heck am I going to wear too?!!

Heyulp!! Any hints and tips much appreciated.

I hate having my photo taken, but at the same time it would be lovely to have some family shots so I am going to suck it up!

Hi LM.

a) We had some natural and some posed shots. The best ones are the more natural ones. We haven't chosen many posed ones with us looking to the camera to keep as they were not as nice. We had them with black/white backgrounds and just had a studio session rather than location shoot. If Izzy interacts well with the animals I'd be tempted to have some with them too, but if not then just nice natural close up shots maybe.

b) We had elliot in just a nappy. I took some nice clothes (nothing too mad or with any logos on) but ended up with just nappy ones.

c) We wore just jeans and a plain top, anything too fashionable will date. We had other clothes with us but ended up staying in jeans and dark tops.

Here are a few of our favourite ones, sorry if there are too many, but to give you some idea!

HB they are beautiful I love the one of you and elliot, he is so beautiful!

LM - i would go with HB's advice I'd also recommend some outdoor ones. My DH's brother just took some for us when J was born and we went to a woods where I used to walk almost every day and I love them as they feel like "our special place".
I'm sure Izzy will be a star and look gorgeous!

The chap is coming to us and bringing his studio kit, so we can go in and outdoors.

Will have to go through my wardrobe and find something suitable......
