Wedding dress Cleaners?

We've just celebrated our first anniversary and i think it's probably time i got my dress cleaned.  I'm really worried about it getting ruined and wondered if anyone had any reccommendations based on their good experiences -  I'm in Chester.

I got mine cleaned where I bought it..it cost £80 but they do it right.They said I could take ot to a dry cleaners but to make sure they were equiped to clean wedding dresses.I did not want to take any chances.I even bought a nice box with acid free paper which preserves the dress.

I used http://www.pdem.co.uk/ for my wedding dress about 3 years ago. They collect from your home/work address and deliver the dress back 2/3 weeks later wrapped in acid free tissue paper, ready to pack away or put dress on Ebay. They also sell acid free wedding dress boxes if you need one. They are around £100.

The service offered by Gownclean is superb.  The care shown by Paul Robinson in cleaning by sisters wedding dress has been great.  We live in London and sending her dress away was very stressful (my sister unfortunately has recently passed away).  Paul kept in contact with us throughout the process and even offered to repair the slight damage, by hand, which was expertly done.  The dress arrived back in London safely and beautifully presented.  I thoroughly recommended this company.
