**Wednesday 2nd Trimester**

Morning Lovelies!

I'm up early, again! I spoke too soon yesterday - Jack was up at 1am, so he's not continued the trend and woken later!  Oh well!  He was funny yesterday - refused to wear clothes!  He ran away before I could put his trousers on after a nappy change.  Then he was very determined and managed to remove his t shirt (the only help he needed was to have the poppers on the shoulder undone to get it over his head) - I was really quite impressed that he managed to get his t shirt off and my mum and I had a laugh about our naked baby wandering round in just a nappy all day.  We did put his t shirt back on a bit later, but he removed it again so gave up.  I wonder if he'll try to go naked at nursery today?! 

Thankfully I didn't have restless leg last night - yay!  H was going through some old photos, including ones in the last few weeks before J was born.  I was huge towards the end and am wondering how on earth I'll manage J whilst being the size of a house!  Baby continues to have a good wriggle inside me - tried to get my mum to feel it yesterday, but every time she put her hand on my bump, baby went still!  Typical!  

J is in nursery today so hoping to get some more of his roman blinds done - didn't get as much done as hoped yesterday as J was being super-clingy and I couldn't leave the room until he was sleeping!  He'd have been fine if I'd left the house,but he knew I was at home and just cried and cried until I gave in and came back to him.  

Hope we are all ok - is there a scan today?  Will check back over the day to find out.

Wren, sorry Jack hasn't behaved this time! Maybe its just a blip and he'll get back to good sleeping tonight?*clutching at straws* > Am laughing at yur naked baby running riot though!

As for moi - nothing to report really. Really really REALLY don't want to go in to work today. The sofa is calling and I'm finding it hard to resist.
Have chronic backache now, more like sciatica (which I've had before), but its getting to the point where I'm struggling to stand up and walk later on in the day. My whole belly/bump was really achey yesterday too. I'm guessing all this is pretty normal though?
Wigglet has calmed down a little now, but does seem to enjoy a good game of 'Irish dancing on mummy's bladder'.....its the only way I can think to describe whats going on in there!

Anyway...... to the latecomers and have lovely days all.

WREN - Hope J has a nice day at nursery, and glad you didnt have restless legs last night! My Mum is aching to feel Bubs too, but he always seems to be asleep whenever Im with her!

Mazzy - Hope the back pain eases off, take it easy today. My sofa is calling me too, no such luck though!

Nothing to report from me, off to the 3rd trim thread tomorrow, so see some of you on that thread soon.

I had to double check then - I think Jack is making your pregnancy brain worse Wren - its Wednesday lovely! At least I am not the only one who does this!

Bless your little naked boy - future naturist in the making? I wonder what it is with little boys and being nekkid - Bratski does this all the time! Hope you get your blinds finished today. Thanks as well for your offer of advice and resources with Mr K's PGCE, I will keep that in mind.

Mazzy - I hope you feel a bit brighter soon petal. Horrible backache + bump to cart around doesn't sound like the nicest combination. I know what you mean about the sofa calling, I could so curl back up on it and nap already!

As for me, Doozer still wedging himself up and under my ribs so my bump goes a funny 'B' shape and I find it hard to stretch up anywhere! My appetite is currently set to ravenous - if I didn't eat every couple of hours yesterday I was really hungry to the point where my stomach was hurting. I had to get up twice in the night for toast.

I think it's SuziQ's scan today, so best of luck Suzi and update us when you can!

Kat - I was ravenous last week. Honestly, I could've eaten all day and night without pausing for breath! Thankfully thats eased off a bit now.......good job really, otherwise i'll be mistaken for a blimp at this rate!

And as for the Tuesday/Wednesday thing, I've clearly lost my mojo too.......I hadn't noticed it either!!

Anyway, I technically shouldn't be here as I'm now 27 weeks but as I've been off line for a couple of days, I thought I'd post here today and then brave the big girls thread tomorrow!

Wren - hopefully you will be able to get your blinds done today, J sounds like a really cute little boy, especially loving being naked (I guess it's a kiddie thing that I will grow to understand and not laugh at!)

Mazzy - I know what you mean about the sofa calling, although I don't have the back ache like you - I hope it doesn't get too painful for you

koobie - will you hold my hand tomorrow? We can go to the big girl thread together

Katamari - wow - getting up twice in the night for toast is quite impressive - I thought I had an appetite I hope doozer moves into a more comfortable position soon

I hope the eating will ease off soon - I can't keep this up!

Mazzy - not realising the day of the week is not so bad - I've done a double take of my bump and then remembered that I'm pregnant!  I had what I think is sciatica type pain - ache/pain deep in my right bum cheek and down my thigh to my knee (only have it after dtd and when I told the MW she suggested trying different positions...... with a bump in the way there is a limit to what you can do! ). Hope your back ache gets better - it's not nice. 

katamari - my mum wondered if he is a future naturist too!  So far today, he has managed to keep his clothes on. It'll be interesting to see whether he is wearing his clothes when I pick him up from nursery at lunchtime!  Hope Doozer moves to a more comfortable spot for you. 

koobie - see you on the 3rd trimester next week!

Where did all that time go? Everyone is moving over to 3rd tri, and after the mass exodus thats already happened its thinning out round here! I fear I may be slipping back into denial......I keep thinking 'I'm HOW many weeks?!'
I'll be in labour shouting 'I'm having a WHAT?!'

Wren - I thought it was Tuesday too - glad it's not just me affected by pregnancy brain.

Mazzy - I have the bump/belly ache at the moment too, I can sympathise. I normally wake up a few days later with a bigger bump tho!

Koobie and Spamboule -  woo-hoo to getting to the third tri. Now the countdown really begins...

Katamari - the thought of you getting up in the night to scarf toast made me laugh.  By the way, I'm holding you responsible for my current coco pops fixation (I'm sure it was you!)

I'm feeling cream crackered today, I was awake in the night and then T got up at 5.30am.  Now he's having a nap, and can I get to sleep...no! I've had a lot of bump and tummy ache in the last few days but it seems to be subsiding at last.  It always worries me a bit.  Baby bunting is kicking like a miniature rugby player.  Seriously, where is she getting this strength?  You can see my bump move really clearly when she gets going - I definitely wasn't getting the alien effect at this stage when i was pregnant with T...am I carrying a monster baby?!

Hola Chicas!

Only a quick hello from me today. Back from Spain late last night and have a ton of washing to do. Not to mention a huge food shop to restock our fridge & freezer following the loss of power we had for 3 days before we left.

Holiday was fab! We all had a great time. Temp was mid to high 30s everyday! Bubs loved it and was wriggling constantly whenever I tried to sunbathe. I'm looking a bit like a crabstick though as I found it really hard to lay on my front. By the pool I managed to lay on a rubber ring and wedge my bump in the hole but on the beach I just couldn't embarrass myself anymore I think I drank my body weight in beer sin alcohol and ate for England but hey what are hoidays for!

I'm 26 weeks now. Can't quite believe it!

I hope everyone is OK? Fill me on an anything I may have missed as I will try and pop on again later. Back at work tomorrow so will be able to hitch properly.

dinx - missed you there.  I'm now sticking my fingers in my ears and singing loudly to drown out the talk of sweeps and other horrible things that won't be happening to me.  They just won't, I tell you!

Mazzy - your denial always makes me laugh!

mixie - I'm sorry about the coco pops. I scarfed two boxes down last week and have to keep replacing them so that Bratski doesn't realise how much of his cereal I am eating!

I assume you can get them where you are, or do you need me to post you over a box? Hope you feel brighter soon petal!
