good morning everybody

whos around this morning and what have we got planned for today?

i havnt got the best dayahead of me i have to do some nvq work{like the whole unit cos iv been putting it off )

buy my mum a birthday pressie, now we dont really get on and i havnt a clue what to get so that should be interesting as i have no idea what to get

and clean out the spare room. which is a mess cos i still have boxes i havnt unpacked from 3 months ago since i moved in.

so a busy day ahead of me. but im sitting here on hitched because i really cant be bothered to start doing things. at 9.00 im going to get off my arse and start doing it.

also why has this weekend gone so quick? why oh why can 2 days at work not go as quick as my weekends xx

Good Morning

A busy day for us too.  Off to church at 10am to hear our banns being read, before that I need to go and get washing powder (dull)

Then after that we are off to the shops as the OH took his shoes out the box and has one shiny shoe and one dull coloured shoe so need to change them.  Need also to get a strapless bra for my dress fitting next week and cufflinks for the men.

And some cowboy accessories as we are going to a fancy dress surprise 60th next Sunday afternoon.

Also wishing it was a 3 day weekend here!

I am in work again hoping for a slightly less stupid day than yesterday.  Hopefully with fewer fire alarms!  I am just having my first cup of green tea in an effort to wake up.

Got petrol this morning, and as it was a Shell garage, the nice bloke in there gave me a drivers club card.  It's just a loyalty card, so I've decided that as it's only just over 3 months until the wedding, I'm going to do it in my married name as that will be one less thing to change!

Now I just need to decide on my new signature!

lol signature practicing, that sounds like fun. really dreading work this week, things have been really hard past few weeks cos of the stuoid recession and they keep saying they are going to make major changes. not surer if that means redundancies or just a change to what we do in general but it dont sound good. anybody no when nona is back form honeymoon? its awfully quite on here without her.  hope shes having a fab time, i cant wait to read her report. hope her mum behaved herself as well x

Not much planned here. OH is playing golf this morning so I'll probably be tackling the washing and housework.

This afternoon we need to sit down and sort a few weddingy things out and then we might go for a walk.

I think I've already decided on my new signature ! I can't wait til I can use it lol.

I am having a quick hitch in my pyjamas while I drink my coffee. Then I am going to have a fairly relaxed day doing wedding stationery in between doing the worktop of washing up, and a massive pile of ironing! We might go and see Harry Potter later too!

im still doing nvq, an hour now and its nowhere near finished.

note to self, be more organised, do things as you go along and do not leave everything to the last minute. do not put things off because you dont like them.

we not sure what to do today might go and look for an engagment ring (i know that sounds funny ) oh brought a white gold cz ring to propose with so we could choose one together later but i actually really love this one but he would like to get me some real diamonds and i am not going to complain ha ha then were of to see harry potter later with some of our bridesmaids and our usher so that will be nice xx

Oh that sounds like fun Anglefish, any idea what sort of thing you are going to look at.  You could always get your original ring resized so you can wear it on your other hand.

I normally work every sunday but my daughter is getting over swine flu and wanted me to be at home so we are currently on the sofa in our pj's under a duvet.  I think that is where we shall stay for most of the day!

Im  going to decide on our wedding stationary today and try to get some quotes for a band.

We have to go to a BBQ/Engagement Party at 2:00pm, so this morning I shall be cleaning the house....FUN, FUN, FUN!

Yesterday we went to Market Bosworth for the day and went to visit the Boworth Hall Hotel, just to look around. It's stunning from the outside, but they were setting up for a wedding, so we sneaked in and had a look around, but couldn't see much. We got a "wedding pack" but we were throughly disappointed with the place. I just confirmed for us why we don't want to get married at a hotel.
