Hi Everyone!
Tabs - I'm currently drinking water with slices of either orange, lemon or lime in it. I make a up a big 1.5litre jug into which I slice the whole fruit, then I stick it in the fridge, evey time I pour a glass, I top up the water so there is always a full jug. I'm not good with plain water, but I find that this gives it just enough flavour - I was finding that I was feeling sick with all the sweetness from squash (I don't like orange or lemon squash, only the really sweet ones like peach, or strawberry, or blackcurrant etc). Hope that might be a useful idea for drinking!
DS - Good luck at the docs! I still have no idea when I will be seeing the MW here, although I have spoken to one and she said that it wouldn't be a problem at all to change the appointment if it isn't convenient (am worried about getting cover at work).
Kirsty - Lots of luck with the scan, not long now sweetie!
Kwango - Hope you had a nice time at lunch, and that you manged to keep your secret! lol
Me - well, had a weird thing today, we went out for the morning which involved a bit of walking around (although not that much) and after about 2 hours I started to feel really funny. Very lightheaded, dizzy, (even more) nauseous, and my limbs felt really heavy ans sluggish. So we came home and I went up to lie down on the bed for a bit, that was about 3pm, and next thing I knew I was waking up at 5.30!! Couldn't believe it!
I haven't put on any weight, in fact I have lost a couple of pounds, and my clothes aren't feeling any more snug, although my boobs have definately got bigger! Mr S cooking comfort food tea of bacon, onions, baked beans, mashed potato and cheese. He has decided that this is what I need to pick me up. I have no idea where he gets his ideas from. I think to be honest he fancied it for tea, and just tried to find a way of justifying it!
Have also just arranged an appointment with the Independant Midwife that I've been in touch with, so am seeing her on Saturday next week YAY!
