  • Where's best to sell an xbox?

I won an xbox 360 in fat ron's monopoly competition. I have no use for this so I want to flog it. it's brand new, sealed and everything. Is ebay the best place? I'm not sure it's the place I'd go to buy something like that.

I'd decide how much you want for it, tell a few people and you'll be rid in no time.

I'd buy it if we lived closer.Laugh BabyB switched ours on last week (unknown to us), it overheated and is now red-ringed.Bawl Wouldn't bother me, but we use it to watch films.

    Congratulations, btw!

Red ringed (I'm assuming 3 red flashing lights and not 4) is known as the Ring Of Death so OH tells me.  Is it under warranty?  If so Xbox will repair / replace it.  If not, depending on how long you've had it, might be worth a call to them anyway - it's a known fault with them

The famous red rings of death Laugh. As Ice Queen said call them, the service is great, they collect and deliver back to you all free of charge.

Wow, well done francesca, I've never 'known' anyone who won more than a free burger/fries in any of Big Ron's comps, and XBox is pretty impressive. I guess you can afford to undercut the shops so price cometitively and advertise locally (mates or Tesco/Morrisons noticeboards or something), I'd rather do that than Fleabay because I'd be worried about scammers/it getting damaged in the post (though you'd send it by SD I sppose and it ould be insured)/paypl withholding the payment until you had pos feedback etc etc.
