Anone had a spitroast?

Hi! 

Just wondered whether anyone else had had a spitroast?  My H2B and his best man seem obsessed with the idea but I'd always imagined something more traditional...I'm not sure how I feel about spending the first night of my married life so stuffed with meat!

H2B says I'm being a stick in the mud

I'm sure it will be fine, just make sure you wipe those meaty juices from your mouth when you're done.

Bearing in mind it's a first post I think it is meant to be rude.  either that or someone should really have a word to stop them embarrassing their nan or something!
