David Furnish: I hated Elton's wedding ring

David Furnish has revealed that, at first, he did not like the wedding ring bought for him by Sir Elton John.
Speaking to Hello! magazine, the musician's other half said he wanted a simple piece of jewellery, an article posted on Contact Music reports.
"Then, two days before the civil partnership, the boxes were brought out and I was like, 'Woooah - that is not simple!'," he continued.
Furnish added he originally told Elton he could not wear the band, but the Rocket Man singer insisted.
"And I thought, 'You know what? You're right. I am going to wear it every day'," he added.
Furnish, who exchanged vows with Elton in a civil ceremony in 2005, stated he has now come to love the piece of jewellery, even though it is flamboyant.
It seems as though all is going well for the couple, as Elton told Piers Morgan on his Life Stories programme on Sunday (December 12th) he would be happy to live in a caravan as long as he had his partner by his side.
