Nicole Richie to marry in December?

It has been reported Nicole Richie is planning to send out wedding invitations and tie the knot this December.

Speaking to E! Online, a source said she and fiance Joel Madden are arranging a winter ceremony, but they are still to finalise their plans.

Although the couple are thinking about tying the knot close to Lionel Richie's estate in LA, this has not been confirmed.

Similarly, Nicole is yet to choose her wedding dress, but she is considering choices put forward by her stylist Simone Harouche, the insider continued.

Earlier this week, the socialite was spotted celebrating her bachelorette party at a luxury resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, People magazine reported.

Among those in tow was Christina Aguilera and the group enjoyed manicures, pedicures and plenty of refreshments.

However, according to the E! Online informant, Nicole's busy schedule meant she had to hold her hen party well before her actual wedding at the end of the year.
