Anna Paquin shows off wedding ring

Anna Paquin has been showing off her ring after donning a wedding dress and marrying Stephen Moyer over the weekend.

The sparkler could clearly been seen in pictures of the True Blood actress as she headed to the Fred Segal shop in Santa Monica, California.

Paquin and Moyer said their vows at a wedding venue by the beach in Malibu on Saturday (August 21st) and their rings were created by jewellery designer Cathy Waterman.

Guests at the event included the couple's True Blood co-star Carrie Preston and the bride wore a halter-neck gown for the occasion.

Speaking to the New Zealand Herald, Paquin's brother-in-law described the ceremony as "great".

"Somehow they've managed to stay real in the middle of this unreal world. It was quite sweet," he added.

The pair met while filming the hit US vampire show.

Paquin first shot to fame playing Flora McGrath alongside Holly Hunter in The Piano, for which she won an Oscar.
