US man 'gets involved' with wedding planning

While it is often the bride that does most of the
wedding planning, one man in the US has decided to get involved as much as possible.
Dave Soldinger, 27, from Los Angeles, is set to marry his fiancee Rebecca Culbertson in August and says he wants to be involved "in just about everything wedding-related".
He told the Lincoln Courier that although he is not a groomzilla, he is very picky when it comes to choosing everything from the
wedding invitations to the food, music and theme.
Ms Soldinger continued by saying he is "aware that the event is a reflection of me, too".
"If I didn't plan anything, then I can't complain on the day if our wedding colours end up being pink and green," he added.
Couples that need to stick to a tight budget when planning their wedding could take some advice from Money Week.
The news provider recently recommended looking in warehouse sales for a designer dress or asking a friend to bake the wedding cake if they are handy in the kitchen.
