Chelsea's wedding is my number 1 priority, says Hillary Clinton

Watching their daughter put on a wedding dress and walk down the aisle is likely to be one of the proudest moments in a mother's life.

It seems as though Hillary Clinton is no different, as she has spoken about how important her daughter Chelsea's nuptials are to her.

The US secretary of state and wife of former US president Bill Clinton said on Chinese TV that the ceremony is currently her number one priority.

"It's something that every mother dreams of," she explained. "And so for me it's the most important activity going on in my life now, I have to confess."

Hillary also tried to explain the US tradition of holding a bridal shower ahead of the ceremony to give the lucky lady wedding gifts and exchange stories from her childhood with friends and family.

Chelsea is set to marry banker Marc Mezvinsky later this year and her father Bill recently confessed that she wants him to lose some weight before the day arrives.
