Tips for booking destination wedding venue

Booking a
wedding venue abroad may be some peoples' idea of a perfect ceremony.
To give them a helping hand when it comes to making the arrangements, one travel firm has offered some advice that could help to ensure the big day runs smoothly.
The American Society of Travel Agents (Asta) said that one of the first things to do is send out
wedding invitations and save-the-date cards.
"Send them off as early as possible, preferably at least eight months in advance, because your guests will need to work the trip into their budget and work schedules," the organisation suggests.
Another tip is to ask friends and family for recommendations of travel agents as they can take some of the stress out of planning the occasion.
The budget also needs to be carefully considered, although Asta states that couples often save money if they get married abroad because it is a more intimate affair.
Men may also be booking interesting locations for their stag parties, as Will Johnson, spokesperson for Last Night Of Freedom, recently claimed that places such as Riga and Kiev are increasing in popularity.
