Simon Cowell: Wedding rumours are false

Simon Cowell has denied rumours that he is planning a lavish ceremony with more than one wedding venue.

The music boss and X Factor judge is currently dating makeup artist Mezhgan Hussainy and the couple are said to be thinking about tying the knot.

However, Cowell has rubbished speculation that they will do so in up to four different locations around the world.

The 50-year-old said: "In spite of various people claiming to be making arrangements for our wedding, no such plans exist."

He also said that he will be doing his own wedding planning "when the time is right".

Cowell added that he wanted to clarify the situation because he kept reading stories from people claiming to be involved with making arrangements.

Amy Winehouse is another person who could be busily making arrangements for her nuptials, as the Daily Star recently reported that she wants to marry Blake Fielder-Civil in Jamaica this year.
