Could Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt tie the knot!

Rumours are flying that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt could be wedding planning.

According to reports, the pair want to host a small, private ceremony and will not be booking a lavish wedding venue for the event.

This is because they want to keep their marriage out of the public eye and avoid being accused of flashing the cash, it has been suggested.

Speaking to OK! magazine, a source said that the couple are considering tying the knot because they are being encouraged by their eldest children - Maddox, eight, Pax, six, five-year-old Zahara and Shiloh, three.

"Brad and Angelina are exceptionally private people and they pride themselves on being humble and not wasting money. So some over-the-top, beachfront affair with hundreds of guests isn't going to happen," the insider continued.

The couple met on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith in 2005 and also have young twins named Knox and Vivienne.

Jolie is currently in Venice where she is filming her new movie The Tourist with Johnny Depp.
