by Fran @ Hitched Lily Allen has sparked rumours that she could be the next celebrity to send out wedding invitations after being spotted with a ring on her engagement finger.

The 24-year-old singer, who is currently dating builder Sam Cooper, was photographer with a sparkling piece of jewellery on her hand in London this week.

She was heading to the city's Quo Vadis restaurant for a meal with her boyfriend's family.

Speaking to the Daily Star, an onlooker said: "It seemed like they were celebrating something but Lily's smile vanished when she saw the cameras."

They added: "She looked determined not to have her picture taken with the ring on."

The popstar recently claimed that she wants to spend less time using the MySpace and Twitter accounts that helped to make her so successful and more with her family and Sam.

However, a spokesperson told the newspaper that Lily will not be ordering wedding flowers, as the Smile singer often wears a ring on her engagement finger.
