John and Edward to walk down the aisle?

Since appearing on The X Factor John and Edward have become household names and it also seems that they are not short of an admirer or two.

The cheeky Irish twins, who are 18 years old, have been asked to make a wedding speech and walk down the aisle by Sir Bob Geldof's daughter Peaches, the Daily Star reports.

And that's not all. The brothers also revealed on their Twitter account that they have been asked to book a wedding venue by two other mystery girls.

"Two girls proposed to us. They gave us rings and we were like: 'Ok. Maybe next year.' And they started to laugh," they stated.

John and Edward were mentored by Louis Walsh on the ITV talent show and achieved a cult following with their energetic performances of songs such a Oops I Did It Again by Britney Spears.

The competition was won by Joe McElderry, with Olly Murs coming second and Stacey Solomon third.
