Zara Phillips 'wears eye-catching fascinator' for friend's wedding

Zara Phillips has shown that it is not just the bride in her wedding dress that can impress guests on the big day.

The royal recently attended a friend's wedding at Canterbury Cathedral and stood out in an eye-catching fascinator.

She was wrapped up warm in a black coat to keep out the freezing weather, which complemented the elaborate gray head-piece perched in her hair.

Her brother Pete also arrived at the wedding venue, although his headgear was slightly less fashionable as he chose a light brown woolly hat, the Daily Mail reports.

The siblings were attending the nuptials of friends Anna Martin and Will Harland, who works on Princess Anne's Gloucestershire estate.

Zara is currently dating England rugby player Mike Tindall and it has recently been revealed that she is to design a range of equestrian clothing for sports brand Musto.

Her creations are set to go on sale next summer.
