Robbie Williams - engaged or not?

Robbie Williams has been sending out confusing messages about whether or not he and girlfriend Ayda Field are currently busy with wedding planning.

Last week, the singer proposed to his other half live on an Australian radio show.

When host Jackie O told the former Take That star that Sydney is notorious for celebrity proposals, he asked Ayda if she would be his "betrothed until the end of time". She accepted before jokingly asking where the ring was.

However, Robbie's spokesperson has claimed that he was not being serious when he asked the American actress to become his wife and they are not looking into wedding photography just yet.

Furthermore, the singer also wrote on his own website: "Hey all. We are not engaged. Rob."

Robbie Williams recently delighted Take That fans and gave them hope of a reunion with the band when he appeared on stage with them at a recent Children in Need concert.
