Take That 'too expensive for Mark Owen's wedding'

Despite recently claiming that Take That could be set to perform at his forthcoming wedding, band member Mark Owen has now said he would not be able to afford them after all.

The 37-year-old singer, who is currently in the last phase of wedding planning with fiancee Emma Ferguson for their nuptials which are to take place next month, has admitted that hiring his own group as entertainment would be too pricey.

Speaking to Closer magazine, he joked: "Will Take That perform? Are you kidding? I couldn't afford them! The boys will all be there though."

While he and Emma, who are the proud parents of two young kids, are organising the final touches of their big day, one thing that is not yet confirmed is their honeymoon.

Mark's bandmate Gary Barlow is the only other member of Take That who is married.

He tied the knot with his partner Dawn Andrews back in 2000 after five years of dating.
