It is essential that brides-to-be include a makeup trial as part of their
wedding planning to ensure they avoid a cosmetic meltdown on the big day.
This is according to celebrity makeup artist Ariane Poole, who has claimed that women should find a professional makeup artist and schedule their trial around six weeks before the nuptials.
She said: "I know brides want everything planned in advance, but the reason why you should do your trial a little bit before the wedding is because your tastes may change."
Brides should also take the changing of the seasons into consideration when planning their makeup look because a heavy and dark winter makeup is not likely to suit a summer wedding, she explained.
They might also benefit from selecting a makeup palette that will complement the
wedding dress.
For example, a 1960s-style gown could look great with makeup inspired by the same decade.
