Parents of 10 kids finally tie the knot

A mum-of-ten from Merseyside has claimed she now feels complete after marrying the father of her kids, 12 years after they first got engaged.

Rachael and Jason Wong had their first children 14 years ago - twins Olivia and Jasmine - and decided to tie the knot two years later.

Eight more kids down the line, however, the pair never found the time to start wedding planning and they were forced to postpone the big day.

But, Rachael, 35, finally got to don her wedding dress this year after the pair's youngest was born and she was over the moon to do so.

"It was a really emotional day and everyone was in tears … I feel complete now - like a proper family," she explained.

This comes after a West Yorkshire couple got married back in June, 33 years after they first got engaged, the Daily Mirror reported.

Jean and Paul Shaw were childhood sweethearts who split up as teenagers only to get back together again in their 50s.
