Newlyweds wow guests with first dance routine

Most couples choose a soppy ballad for their first wedding dance but new bride and groom Brian and Katie from the US went for something different when they tied the knot.

After what must have been months of wedding planning and a good deal of choreography, the pair took to the dance floor at their reception and wowed guests with a medley of iconic songs and killer moves.

They started off by dancing romantically to Ronan Keating's You Say It Best When You Say Nothing At All, before launching into Elvis moves, the jive and the twist, followed by everything from Michael Jackson's Thriller routine to the robot and Eminem-style rap moves.

A video of the dance has been posted on YouTube and has already been viewed seven million times.

When guests receive their wedding invitations in the post they often hope that the ceremony and reception will be a bit different - much like this one.
