Grizzly bear stands as best man

Friends and family of naturalist Casey Anderson must have been shaking in their boots when they received
wedding invitations to join him as he tied the knot with actress Missi Pyle.
Anyone who knows Casey, 33, of Montana is likely to have also come across his best friend Brutus, who was also his best man at the wedding. However, when the groom's second in command happens to be a 900 lbs grizzly bear, it should be no surprise that they might be apprehensive during the day.
Luckily for guests and Casey's bride Missi, Brutus is a gentle giant. Casey rescued him when he was just a cub and has reared him ever since.
"Brutus engages with humans in a way that other bears don't because he is very intelligent and emotional. His personality is very gentle," Casey explained.
It may have been strange watching a giant grizzly bear chow down on
wedding cake, but it is certainly not a lone case in the strange wedding stakes.
Footballer Rio Ferdinand has said he wants to use an owl as the ring bearer when he and his fiancee wed in the summer.
