Denise Van Outen announces engagement

British TV presenter turned Broadway star, Denise Van Outen, is set to wed boyfriend, Any Dream Will Do winner Lee Mead after a year of dating, it has been revealed.

The 34-year-old actress confirmed the news of the celebrity couple's upcoming wedding planning, suggesting that wedding bells may be ringing for the pair before the year is over.

"They haven't set a date yet, but it will probably be later this year," a representative confirmed.

According to reports, 27-year-old Joseph star Lee popped the question at their home in Kent, before whisking his bride-to-be away for a celebratory holiday to the Caribbean island of St Lucia.

An inside source revealed: "Denise had no idea, but was absolutely thrilled."

Essex-born Denise previously dated Jamiroquai frontman Jay Kay for three years before the couple split in 2001.
