Chloe’s Most Ravishing Real Weddings

In a bid to banish the
post bank holiday blues, I’ve scoured the action-packed archives here at
hitched HQ, unearthing the most ravishing real weddings that the UK’s number one
wedding website (oh stop it, we’re blushing!) has to offer.
An inspiration-packed
part of the site, the hitched real wedding section is great for gleaming ideas
for your wedding day, whether it’s a wedding theme, colour scheme or décor idea
that you’re after. Our own hitched honeymooner,
Mrs. Plan With Fran herself, took inspiration from Sarah and Michael’s real wedding.
So without further
ado, Plan With… Chloe presents a roll of real wedding favourites, kicking off
with Stacey and Terry’s effortlessly elegant event!
Complete with a sumptuously shabby chic feel,
Stacey and Terry’s light, bright and airy summer wedding day is simply
stunning. I am in love with the
immaculate and contemporary styling of crisp and clean lines. The relaxed and informal feel to the wedding
day is enticing, as is the subtle and not too matchy matchy colour scheme; a
loose palette of red, white and blue. The
hint of the in vogue great British wedding day theme is oh so endearing and I
love the fact that the wedding décor has been created using ‘investment items’-
more on this terrific topic later in the week.

A self-confessed purple
fiend, I could be easily swayed to the dark side with real wedding couple Laura and Stuart’s plum shade of perfection. An
utterly beautiful bridal bouquet, I absolutely adore the whimsical combination
of the delicate pink and taupe roses paired with the harsh thistles and fresh
green berries. Also scrapbooked as a firm favourite of mine are Laura’s bridesmaids’ dresses. A delicate and flowing style, these beautiful
bridesmaid gowns are fabulously flattering and very versatile; suited to
weddings in all seasons and understated enough that they can be worn again-
crucial credit crunch criteria!

Continuing with the
purple theme, Vikki and Chris’ tulip bridal bouquets of plum and ivory had me as happy as a clam. Representing elegance and grace, this favourite
flower of mine is a fine-looking floral and apt choice of bridal bloom. Jane
and Alan hosted an exquisite
destination wedding in the radiant region of the Dordogne; a real wedding with
a touch of je ne sais quoi and well worth a sneaky peek! Channelling a current and coveted trend, Jane
opted for varying shades of the same colour palette, choosing tasty turquoise for
her magnificent maids.

Winding up with
tempting bridal tresses, Julie’s luscious locks are a wedding day hair-do to die for and I absolutely
love Jo’s retro bridal bouffant.
