Wedding Hair: Up or Down?

In 5 weeks time I will be getting ready to put my dress on
and walk down the aisle. I’m excited,
emotional, a little bit nervous, but overall I feel closer to my h2b than we
ever have before.
I’ve met with my amazing florist for the last time and my
wedding cake has been created and is waiting to be cut through by a new Mr &
Mrs, however there is one part of my
wedding planning that I just cannot decide on.
I have hired a professional make-up and hair stylist to help
make me look glam on the big day; my
trial was last weekend and thankfully went really well. I think I’m sorted with the make-up, but in regards to my wedding hair, I just don’t
know what to do. The two different hair
styles that I have always envisioned have left me with a tough decision to make.
I am wearing a strapless dress so I think that either hair
style will work – I just need to decide whether or not I go for the up-do, or
wear my hair down.
When it comes to the wedding photography I want to make sure
that I really love whatever style I go for, because we will be looking at these
photographs for a long time in the future.

Personal Pros of Up-do:
~ My hair will be off my back and face, accentuating the back
of my dress (which is amazing).
~ When I bought my dress I put my hair in a side bun as an
example and loved the combination.
~ I feel that my jewellery will stand out a little bit more if I wear my hair up.
Personal Pros of Hair Down:
~ I have always had long hair and it seems like a shame to
wear it up after I’ve grown it for so long.
~ My h2b loves my hair when it’s down
~ I can move my hair to either side of my shoulders, or can
still put it up later in the day if it feels too long or annoys me.
So, my question to you is…have you chosen your wedding hair
style yet? And if so, what are you
doing? Up, or down - and why?
