Choosing my wedding cake has been one of the most fun and
exciting parts of my wedding journey so far. My fiancé and I have gone for something that matches the style of our wedding and the
colour scheme of the room we’ve hired for our wedding breakfast. Even though were only having a small wedding,
we’ve decided to order a big wedding cake so that we can share it out between
our friends, family and work colleagues before we set off on our honeymoon.
Luxurious London
department store, Fortnum & Mason, have today launched a collection of
exquisite wedding cakes. Inspired by
Fortnum & Mason’s foundations in the 1700’s, each cake uses elements of
this era to create an elegant centrepiece at any wedding. The wedding cakes use only the finest Fortnum
& Mason ingredients and each wedding cake also comes with matching wedding
favour cookies for your guests to take home at the end of your celebration.
The exquisite wedding cakes are all made fresh to order, and are
also bespoke, enabling you as the bride and groom-to-be to not only choose the
design and colours of your wedding cake, but also to choose the flavour. From Carrot and Pecan cake with lemon
buttercream, to Classic Tercentenary Chocolate (Fortnum & Mason chocolate
ganache using tercentenary chocolate), you’ll be bound to find a flavour you
both love. Or, if you are a traditional
couple then the fruitcake, soaked in Fortnum & Mason cognac and brandy
could be the choice for you.
Contact Fortnum & Mason (www.fortnumandmason.com) directly to enquire further
about ordering one of these utterly fabulous wedding cakes for your big day.
