Weddings, reviews, gossip and shoes...................a view from a girl who lives, breathes and dreams - weddings!

Brides Beware

Shopping for your wedding dress will not only be one of the most time consuming parts of your wedding planning, but it will also be one of the most exciting experiences during the run up to your big day.

You will most probably spend a lot of time browsing online and in magazines finding styles and designs that you like before booking appointments with bridalwear shops near you.  With thousands upon thousands of different styles and worldwide renowned designers available here in the UK narrowing the choices down will be a challenge.  Sipping Champagne and taking advice from your mum or bridesmaids is just the start of what some girls experience when trying to find the gown to suit their body, and style of their wedding.  Some brides try on 30 or 40 dresses before finding a dress they like, but eventually the perfect dress is found for every bride-to-be.

Whether it is a mermaid style gown, a strapless neckline or a dress above the knee, once you have tried on 'the one' you will know! The elegant material, the carefully stitched embellishment and the intricate design will be created specifically for you once your dress has been ordered, and you will look, and feel amazing as you walk down the aisle in your dress to meet your man. Through out the day all eyes will be on you and your dress, so making sure you feel comfortable and look your best is essential.  With the right dress your confidence will shine and you will feel beautiful through out the day.

However, this amazing experience will never happen if you order a counterfeit wedding dress from an unauthorised internet seller. Time and time again we hear of brides having bought wedding dresses online from China whereby the dress arrives having been worn, faulty, damaged, dis-coloured and not what was ordered; Not something you should struggle with during the most exciting time of your life. Also, if you need to get your counterfeit wedding dress altered you may have problems finding a seamstress to help you.  The quality and buying experience will in no way compare to what you can receive right here in the UK.

If budget is an issue there are plenty of wedding dress sales around the country.  The Bridal Designer Sale takes place in London several times a year, and I am constantly hearing of wedding dress shops having open day's, designer sales, sample sales or special offers..so there really is no excuse.

For more information on counterfeit wedding dresses visit bridesaware.com or if you are looking for a wedding dress shop here in the UK check out the list of shops and designers that we have listed right here on hitched.co.uk
