Are you dreaming of a white Christmas? I always get a little nervous to be honest when the weatherman talks about snowy conditions, and until last year I didn't even own a pair of traditional wellington boots! With freezing conditions forecast for later this week, it got me thinking about cold/wet/snowy weather on your wedding day and what on earth you do to keep your shoes, and dress from being spoilt!
One solution that I have recently come across and will match your wedding dress perfectly are White Hunter Wellies!

Hunter is a well known brand of Wellington boot that are known all over the country for offering a sturdy and reliable boot for our traditional British weather. Various celebrities such as Reese Witherspoon, Lily Allen and Emma Watson have been spotted wearing Hunter's at festivals or in general rainy conditions for the past several years and Hunter's have almost in a way brought a trend to fashion with their wellington boots.
If you are getting married in one of the wetter or colder months then it may be worth purchasing a pair of white Hunter Wellies to wear under your dress on the way to the church or reception so that you doing ruin your new wedding shoes. If you need lift your dress up off the ground to protect it everyone will be able to see your gorgeous, and very sensible wellies underneath!

Hunter Wellington Boots come in a range of colours and sizes and can be purchased from their website directly or through various different outlets stockists around the UK.
Catherine and Jamie from the hitched.co.uk real weddings section had prepared for bad weather by buying a selection of wellington boots ready for the big day in case the weather was bad. Luckily they didn't need to use them, but having them ready was a great idea!

I think that wellington boots are an essential purchase if you are worried about the weather on your wedding day so make sure they go on your 'to do' list!
