A bride and groom in Japan have become the world's first couple to have been wed by a robot!

The newlyweds met through Japan's robotic industry and seeing as they are both such fans thought it was a natural decicion to have a robot officiate their nuptials.

'I-Fairy' who had coloured flashing eyes and plastic pigtails gave the groom permission to kiss the bride at the end of the ceremony.
