Weddings, reviews, gossip and shoes...................a view from a girl who lives, breathes and dreams - weddings!

London brides....go to the designer wedding show this weekend!!

I have just come back from the designer wedding show in London and I have to say ladies....it is DEFINITELY worth the visit! I took the tube to the Sloane Square...and then walked across the square to The Sloane Square Hotel where I picked up a complimentary shuttle right to the venue.  This was really handy because it was raining.

When I walked into the venue (a really well put together marquee in the middle of Battersea Park), I felt as if I was walking into a very modern and exciting show!  The catwalk was at the back of the venue and the atmosphere was really special compared to some of the other shows that I have been to in the past.

I had the pleasure of meeting Emma from Emma Hunt and saw her stunning bridalwear collection both on her stand and on the amazing catwalk! I also bumped in to Hamish from Eternal Imaging, and Rachel from Luella's Boudoir bridalwear shop in Wimbledon village. I also had a laugh with Annette from Annette Carey and looked through her beautiful collection both on her stand and then again on the catwalk.  The catwalk show really is so inspirational and worth going for!

And the highlight of my day was getting to see (and touch) 'the carrie dress' by Vivienne Westwood! I don't think it was the actual dress....but it was the same exact style that Carrie Bradshaw wore in my favourite movie!

So, if you are in London this Saturday or Sunday make sure you pop along to the designer wedding show! You can buy tickets on the door and the show is open between 10am and 5pm.

Click here for further information! and have a LOVELY time if you do end up going.
