Surprise wedding planned for Big Brother star Michelle Bass

Ultimate Big Brother contestant Michelle Bass is set to
tie the knot later this month – but she knows nothing about
it.
Her fiance Steve McKeown has revealed he is currently
wedding planning and arranging a surprise ceremony for the reality TV
star.
Speaking to new! magazine, he said he thinks the secret
celebration will be the perfect way to show Michelle, who originally appeared on
Big Brother 5, how much he loves her.
"I want her to be whisked off her
feet. I thought with her being away for a couple of weeks I could do something
really special for her in a big way," Steve
added.
This all sounds very romantic to me and I'm sure
Michelle is going to be thrilled, especially as Steve said he is planning a "big
white wedding".
But this got me thinking about getting hitched and I
wonder whether many brides-to-be would prefer to have a say in the wedding
flowers and venue when they walk down the aisle.
I think it's a great gesture and very memorable, but I
reckon a lot of women would prefer to be involved in arranging their big
day.
