Phil Collen marries nine days after divorce
Phil Collen from the band Def Leppard has married for the third time!
Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen has tied the knot – just nine days after the divorce from his second wife was finalised.
The musician made a wedding speech and walked down the aisle with costume designer Helen Simmons last Friday (July 16th).
A beach in Florida served as the wedding venue for the sunset ceremony and Collen's bandmates Rick Savage and Vivian Campbell were on hand to toast their friend at the occasion.
The groom told People: "We've been looking for each other our entire lifetime. To say we're ecstatic this day has finally come is putting it mildly. It could only be us for each other."
Although I'm all for people giving it another go if a marriage doesn't work out, walking down the aisle nine days after getting divorced is pretty speedy!
I hope he hasn't rushed into this one and although it sounds like he's found his soul mate, they could still be in that blissful stage of a relationship before cracks start to appear.
Let's hope it's third time lucky!
