Mariah Carey to renew vows for third time

Mariah Carey and her husband Nick Cannon are getting married for a third time as they celebrate their anniversary this month.

Mariah Carey is definitely known for being a bit of a demanding pop diva, so I wasn't really surprised when I read the latest news about her wedding plans.

The singer is set to walk down the aisle with her hubby Nick Cannon as they mark their anniversary later this month.

Although they tied the knot in a small, intimate ceremony in 2008 before hosting a larger party for their family and friends, the pair are keen to renew their vows every year.

Cannon said: "That's our thing. So it's going to be our third wedding this year."

I know that Heidi Klum is another person who likes to don her wedding dress and tie the knot with her husband Seal every year, so what do you think about the idea?

Although there are many people who I'm sure consider it to be a really romantic gesture, others might argue that saying "I do" once is enough.

After all, you can still celebrate your wedding anniversary with a small gift or romantic meal without the extravagance and expense of another ceremony.

Maybe when you hit a big milestone, like ten or 25 years, it would be nice to renew your vows, but I think doing it every year is a bit much.
